Project Virago: Tell me a story your grandma once told you!
From great grandma to grandma, grandma to mom, mom to me, folklore connects women of different generations. Voices trapped in the household travel across the globe through collective storytelling.
If you happen to identify as a woman, and have a story inherited from your mom, grandma, aunt, or any maternal figure in your life, related or unrelated, please join this project and preserve their stories in your own voice.

Survey ends on 12/31/2021. Volunteers will be contacted by early January with a confirmation email for consent forms and recording details.

Please contact virago.folklore@gmail.com if you have any questions. I will try to reply within 3 business days.
