DNA (Discover, Nurture, Act)

"Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News." (Php 1:27)

The scriptures are clear, discipleship should always be at the forefront of the Christian life.  Whether you have been a believer in Christ for a day or 100 years.  Until Christ returns or takes us home, we are to continue to walk with each other.

One way we try to accomplish this, is to use DNA Groups (Discover, Nurture, Act). These are same sex groups no bigger than 4. As a group, you choose when to meet for about 45-60 minutes per week. Currently this can be done over Zoom or some other online video service (i.e. Facebook),  you could even have people call in. Each time you will Read a passage of scripture, ask the Four Questions and Pray for one another.

D - WHO IS GOD?
What do we learn about his character and nature through this story?

D - WHAT HAS HE DONE?
What stands out to you about the work of God through Jesus?

N- IN LIGHT OF THIS, WHO ARE WE?
What is our identity as a result of God’s work?

A - IN LIGHT OF THIS, HOW DO WE LIVE?
Practically, how do we get to live in light of our new identity? What are you going to do this week (or until you meet again) that you will be accountable to the group for?

Once you have signed up, we will organize the groups and connect the groups to each other. We hope to have everything up and running for October.
