Thank you for submitting an application to speak at the 2020 Women's Legacy Conference.  This conference is designed to inspire and inform business owners, independent agents, and women in key executive positions with engaging presentations and inspirational talks.  

The conference will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020, beginning at 9:00 am - 1:30 pm at the Oak Ridge Church of Christ, 4895 I-20 Service Road North, Willow Park, TX 76087.

What is your message to this dynamic group of women that will help them achieve ultimate success?  We ask that the stage is used to inform and inspire, not to sell your product or service.  We support and encourage the promotion of your products and services by providing an 8-ft table to meet with attendees and showcase your items.  It is advised to bring an assistant to help manage your table and attendees with purchases.  The length of speech needed is 30 minutes, see our topic areas below.  Our attendees are looking for "next level" information.

1. Would you consider speaking on the topic of You Are Your Brand? We would like you to address
• What a brand is (one more time)
• Why a brand is important
• How you are the brand (you are the brand 24/7, especially in a community like Parker County where everybody knows everybody, and shopping at the grocery store and posting on your personal Facebook page)
• The importance of brand loyalty and how to build it

2. Would you consider speaking on the topic of How to Plan and Organize for Growth? We would like you to address
• What businesses can expect when there’s tremendous growth in your geographic area and how those things will affect your business
• What you need to do to prepare for growth (facilities, budget, marketing, employees, assets, etc.)
• How to keep from losing a business because of growth that comes too fast
• Practical ideas they can implement

3. Would you consider speaking on the topic of Staying Agile? We would like you to address
• How agility can be an advantage of small businesses over large ones
• How to evaluate your business for agility
• If your business is not agile, how to make it so
• How to stay agile
• How to make agility work for a business
• What to watch for that could call for an adjustment in your business

4. Would you consider speaking on the topic of How to Build Your Audience Online? We would like you to address
• Why audience-building is so important
• Defining your audience
• How to build an audience
• Actionable strategies for giving value to your customers
• Compare websites and social media regarding audience-building (Do you have to do both? Which is better?)

5.  Would you consider speaking on how to compete with anyone in a growing market? We would like you to address
• What businesswomen need to do to retain customers they already have when new businesses move in
• What they can do to acquire the new customers in the county
• Actionable items they can use to keep and grow their market share
• What happens to businesses in a growing area that do not prepare to exploit that growth
