Thank you for your interest in the 2022 IoT4Community Workshop: Introducing Mini-Computing for IoT at Home!

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an umbrella of technologies where Smart Devices communicate with each other through the Internet for mass data collection, enabling advanced cloud computing such as AI, Big Data, Analytics and Automation. At the heart of IoT is a tiny computer that transforms everyday objects into Smart Devices. This workshop centers on equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence in using Linux as an Operating System for simple IoT projects at home.

The workshop consists of 2 sessions/parts:
Part 1 - Online Session - 20th August 2022 from 9am to 12.30pm.
Venue: Online through Zoom Meeting (Link will be sent to you once confirmed)

Part 2 - Physical/Hybrid Session - 27th August 2022 from 9am to 12.30pm
Venue: A303 (IoT Lab) at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (Location: https://goo.gl/maps/ukVG7TGkcyVDxWmV6)

Part 2 is highly recommended to complete your training, but is not absolutely compulsory. You will get a certificate for completing each Part.
