2022-2023 NewsWatch Staff Application
Staff Members: NewsWatch employs a full-time staff of directors and producers. It is important to be familiar with each position’s responsibilities.

We are hiring the following positions:

1.     Video Producer: produces video elements for the show [e.g. VO, SOT, SOTVO]. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere is required. Experience with JVC/DSLR cameras is preferred.  

2. Graphics Producer: creates graphic content for the show [e.g. Full Pages, OTS] Knowledge of Adobe Premiere is required. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

3. Social Media Producer: manages all NewsWatch social media accounts [e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube] and posts show content on all digital platforms. Requires time after 5:30 p.m.

4.     Floor Directors: manages everything in the studio during newscasts including camera placements, cues, mic checks, timing, etc. Must be able to work from 4:45pm - 5:30/45pm.  (no experience necessary, but it is a plus)

Important Notes: All staff positions are paid. Staff members may be needed to work outside of NewsWatch hours. Staff members need to be reliable, work well under pressure and be team players.
