RISE TO TEACH 2024 Program Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in the Rise to Teach (RTT) program at PCC! With a special focus on recruiting culturally and/or linguistically diverse, underrepresented students to the teaching profession (eligibility details: https://www.pcc.edu/rise-to-teach/), Rise to Teach offers a supported, affordable college pathway for students to become licensed K-12 teachers. Our program is a partnership between PCC, PSU, Portland Public Schools (PPS), and Beaverton School District (BSD), and offers students who are committed to becoming teachers an opportunity to earn their degrees at PCC and PSU with tuition waivers (full tuition cost covered for bachelor's, half of tuition cost for master's degree). Our goal is to not only support students in reaching their academic and career goals, but to also help develop students into teachers who will be skilled advocates for equity in education.

This is not the application form but an interest form to set up an info meeting.
Please fill out this interest form, and also schedule a quick Zoom meeting to discuss the application process with coordinator Kara Huynh Stone at this link: https://karaschedule.youcanbook.me
