09/25 Cornerstone Government Affairs Virtual Site Visit
Cornerstone Government Affairs (CGA) is a group involved in interesting policy work on a wide range of issues to include health, education, energy and environment, defense, homeland security, agriculture, and others.  They have a paid internship program that provides a unique opportunity for selected candidates to gain first-hand policy experience and exposure to the people and processes of the United States Congress and Washington, D.C   
They generally have 3-4 interns a semester and also hire over the summer. The positions are paid - a great foot in the door at Cornerstone that will expose you to a wide range of issues.  Visit their site: (https://cgagroup.com/about-cga/#!)

We are excited to host two principal senior executives from Cornerstone Government Affairs:

Former Delegate John L. Bohanan, Jr. joined Cornerstone Government Affairs in October 2015. He brings to Cornerstone a 21-year career working for House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD). John was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, serving District 29B in St. Mary’s County since 1999. He served on the Appropriations Committee where he was the Chairman of the Education and Economic Development Subcommittee. It was John’s leadership that led the charge to bring the University of Maryland to the Higher Education Center.  

Heather Molino joined Cornerstone in 2015 after two decades of Capitol Hill and communications experience, where she developed significant expertise in cyber, defense, space, intelligence and national security. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Heather was the minority staff director for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) under Ranking Member C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD).
