Volleyball Court Turns are a great way to work for your fundraising money for rasieRED! The minimum of $200 can be easily fundraised by coming to a few court turns without having to ask family and friends for donations.
So What is Court Turns??
Court turns requires turning the volleyball mats from practice mode, which lays horizontally, to game mode, which lays vertically. In order to move these mats, we use leaf blowers to blow air underneath the mats to allow the mats to slide around more easily. We then use metal clips to grip onto the mats and move them across the court. Apart from turning the court, we will also be setting out the bleachers for game day and setting up rows of seats court side for the players. However, for tear down, we put away chairs.
Time Commitment
Court turns during set-up usually takes roughly 2 hours to 2.5 hours. Meanwhile, court turns during tear down usually takes an hour and a half to 2 hours.
I will personally reach out to you with this information as well as directions to the location of the court turn a day before the court turn. We are required to have at least 8 people at each of the court turns so please encourage your friends to sign up to help them raise their money for raiseRED!
