Our goal is to establish a bank of volunteers we can call upon when needed. You may not get a call to serve immediately, but we want to be prepared for a marathon, not a race.
You will be contacted by a CareTeam member before you are assigned to any specific assignment. Administrators will have access to all volunteer availability in order to best disperse volunteer opportunities. Thank you for volunteering, we couldn't do this without you!
Available Opportunities:
Short Check-In Phone/Video Calls - These are 10-15 minute phone calls to check-in on a person's well being and their needs
Longer Social Phone/Video Calls - These calls are of a more social nature. Like going for a visit, but over the phone!
Pick-Up & Delivery - Curbside or drive thru pick-up at a local grocery store or pharmacy and delivery at the persons door step. Items will be prepaid by the recipient either online or over the phone.
Grocery Shopping & Delivery - This will be for instances when there is a need before the next available grocery story pick-up time. Volunteers will coordinate the grocery list and payment directly with the recipient.
Kid Packs (Providing Items) - Providing these designated items (see bottom of this form) and sorting them into gallon zip-lock bags. Days will be coordinated to leave bags outside your home to be picked-up by CareTeam members and take to Norcross Cooperative Ministry.
Kid Packs (Using Donated Items) - As Kid Pack items are donated, all items can be dropped off at a volunteers house to sort into gallon zip-lock bags. Days will be coordinated to leave bags outside your home to be picked-up by CareTeam members and take to Norcross Cooperative Ministry.
Light & Life Committee - This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine! This group will be taking on projects to keep everyone's focus of the beauty of God's blessings. This will include a lot of great at home projects.
CareTeam Administrator - Help the CareTeam run smoothly. This will consist of administrative tasks such as following up with care requests, contacting volunteers.
CareTeam Leader - As need grows, so will our CareTeam. If you would be interested in taking on a leadership role such as heading a team or committee, let us know!
