1) Are any meals provided? Yes, breakfast and lunch are provided.
2) What is the dress code? Volunteers will be giving a volunteer t-shirt the day of the event. Bottoms should be black, khaki, or dark jeans with no holes or rips. Comfortable shoes are best.
3) Will their be an orientation? Yes, a mandatory online orientation will be schedule for the month of July. There will also be a walk-through the day before the conference. All volunteers will be strongly encouraged to attend.

Bag Stuffing - Assist with preparation of attendee conference bags before the conference

Registration- Assist at the registration area, welcoming participants, giving out conference bags and badges, and helping direct traffic. Start time at 7:00am.

Room Monitor - Activities include ensuring presenter is ready to begin training, checking attendee badges, distributing handouts and evaluations, collecting evaluations, minor troubleshooting, and providing feedback about session and presenter.

Hospitality - Assist in the main hall, greeting attendees, answering questions about schedule, etc.

Photography- Event photography

Social Media- Must be experienced "Tweeters" who are knowledgeable about tweeting protocol and Twitter best practices (use of hash tags, re-tweeting and attribution, etc.). Volunteers must be on site for the duration of the conference. Volunteers will not be tweeting as official representatives of YEDC/Urgent Inc but will coordinate with staff to ensure consistency of message.
