Background on expected attendance
We expect more than 40 local students to attend with power electronics or EE energy expertise, as well as 5-15 industry tables.  Past events are attended especially by Northeastern University and MIT students, as well as a few other universities.  There is also about 1/3 attendance from industry members of IEEE PELS. We have surveyed 20 of the students planning to attend and discovered that about: 50% undergrad + 50% grad; 60% US citizen; 40% looking for coop/internship and 60% full-time employment. They are all interested in power electronics related fields.
