BROWERVILLE PEE WEE SOFTBALL/BASEBALL 2020
3rd grade - 4th grade , 5th grade - 6th grade  

GROUP ONE - Third grade , Fourth grade (finished last school year)
GROUP TWO - Fifth grade , Sixth grade (finished last school year)

PRACTICE IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN ON MONDAY, JULY 6, 2020

SOFTBALL - MONDAY & WEDNESDAY (GROUP ONE 9:00-10:00) (GROUP TWO 10:00-11:00)
BASEBALL - TUESDAY & THURSDAY  (GROUP ONE 9:00-10:00) (GROUP TWO 10:00-11:00)


1. If you are sick or someone in your household is sick, please stay home.

2. Coaches will check your temperature when you arrive at the ball field.

3. Parents, guardians, or others please drop off and pick up the player at the back football/baseball field parking lot. Due to construction, we ask that you stay out of the front parking area.

4. Parents, guardians, or others are not allowed to be at the practice area, including the bleachers, the outfield, or the sideline fence area. Please drop them off and return at the designated finish time or stay in your car for the length of the practice. Again, please comply with social distancing and do not gather together in the parking lot.
 
5. Both dugouts will be used for players to sit and/or store their things. Players space yourself and all your equipment  at least six feet apart.

6. We will practice social distancing of six feet when on and off the field, doing drills, batting, running bases, taking fly balls, etc.

7. Wear (PPE) items if you choose to wear them.

8. Browerville will not be providing water, water bottles, or any type of “sport” drink. You must bring your own water bottle that is clearly labeled with your name on it. Do not grab, touch, handle, or pass other water bottles.
 
9. You may bring your own hand sanitizer and use at any time you feel the need to use.

10. Browerville will spray down all equipment (balls, bats, catching gear etc.) before and after each practice session.

11. If you have your own helmet, bat, catchers gear, and/or facemask you are encouraged to bring those items with you. We will still spray those items as well.

12. No gum, licorice, or sunflower seeds will be allowed as it leads to spitting.

13. No hugging, giving high fives, fist bumps, or close group huddles (coach talks) will be permitted.

14. Coaches will disinfect bench and high touch areas before and after practices.

15. THERE WILL NOT BE BATHROOMS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ON THE BROWERVILLE ATHLETIC CAMPUS.

16. When your group/session has finished practice you will be asked to leave the practice area. If you need to wait for an older/younger sibling you will need to stay in the car with whomever brought you. If not able to or have a ride waiting, you will be asked to leave the athletic campus.

17. Browerville Public School District 787 and the coaches will do everything they can to ensure your safety. It is up to all of us to respect each other’s space and safety during these new and different times.

Each session will consist of practicing fundamentals that are part of the game of baseball/softball. All
elements of the game will be worked on. We will not play games, scrimmage, or play any teams from
other towns. This will be a “fundamentals” based practice only.
