Free Support for Kinship and Adoptive Families Virtual Family Engagement Session - Tuesday, January 25
Families and “guardians” are defined many ways beyond Moms and Dads. We have Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents and Kinship Care, Foster Care and Permanent Adoption.  For all of our kinship and adoptive families here in Columbus City Schools, we have a new community partner who can help you navigate and connect with all available resources, locally and statewide. And it’s 100% free. During our Tuesday Virtual Family Engagement Session, we’ll hear more about the OhioKAN effort and the work of our partners at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. These free services are available to all kinship and adoptive families in Ohio, including temporary or permanent placement with families related or not related to a child.
