Being a Room Rep is such a fun and rewarding experience and a great way to connect with your child's class throughout the year!! Please review the following requirements, duties and responsibilities of Room Reps:

- Be a PTO member in good standing and attend at least 75% of PTO general membership meetings and classroom activities and events.  

- Email communications about PTO events and friendly reminders to your class.  

- Collect class donations and budget accordingly for: teacher/aide gifts for holidays and end of year, creating a class Tricky Tray basket (in the event of a Tricky Tray fundraiser), and anything purchased toward the 3 classroom parties you plan and organize during the year (Halloween, Holiday, and Earth Day). 

- Chaperone the class field trip(s).

- Take photographs during class events and create a class yearbook page.

- Coordinate a handmade gift for Teacher Appreciation Week.

- Coordinate class booth for School Fair and volunteers.

- Coordinate classroom help if requested by the teacher.

- Make it an epic year for the kids and have so much fun!!!

I understand that submitting this form does not guarantee that I will be assigned as a Room Rep for my child.  I understand that I will be informed by email in August (once teachers are assigned) if I have been selected.  I understand that Room Reps are assigned on a first come, first serve basis and that several factors go into the selection process, including whether you have followed the requirements above if you were a Room Rep previously.  *
