Absence Reporting

At The Oxford Academy we aim for every child to achieve above 97% attendance so as to maximise their learning and progress. However, there will be times when they will not be in school. Please complete this form to report any type of absence.

If your child is going to be absent for more than one day please indicate this in the form.

If your child has low attendance (especially if it is below 90%) we will most likely need to contact you. Also, if your child is absent for three days we will call you to discuss the absence. After five days, safeguarding rules require us to do a sighting visit.
