Description: The resources granted to Latin@s for contraception are limited. Latin@s continue to face barriers in finding options that are affordable and available. As a consequence, they experience unintended pregnancy 2x more than white peers. Where do we go from here? Come to this talk to here the many barriers from insurance based to controlling partners faced in getting contraceptives for Latin@s and how to tackle them. You will also get to hear speakers demonstrate how to use contraceptive measures and how to gain better access to them. Free contraceptives provided. Tamales and agua fresca provided!
