2024-2025 Book Buddies NEW Volunteer Enrollment/Background Check
Thank you for your interest in Book Buddies! To begin the process of becoming a Book Buddies volunteer, complete the information for the 2024-2025 school year and select a volunteer training session. Book Buddies is a reading program that is hosted Monday through Thursday at all 11 BCSC elementary schools in Columbus, IN. Book Buddies runs late August through mid-April. We will resume offering new volunteer trainings in August.

New Volunteer Training: In addition to completing volunteer enrollment forms and background check, volunteers are required to attend a one-time training session. New volunteer trainings will resume in August. The trainings begin at 12:00 p.m. and are held at the BCSC Administration Building, 1200 Central Avenue, Columbus.
