Michigan Materials Research Institute (MMRI) Annual Summit

May 30th-31st 2024

Venue: NCRC Building 18 Dining Hall 

Registration deadline: Monday April 1st

Summit will feature invited talks by MMRI faculty and industrial partners, including MMRI sponsored projects, and posters by students and postdoctoral researchers. 


Topical areas covered include, but are not limited to

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Discovery in Materials Research,

  • New Tools for High Temporal, Spatial Characterization,

  • Materials - Advanced Manufacturing Co-design,

  • Materials for next-generation technologies in medicine, clean energy, microelectronics, nuclear, aerospace, hypersonics, defense, national security and transportation.

There is no registration fee. However, pre-registration is required for catering. 

The Summit will provide continent breakfast and lunch on both days, and refreshments at Thursday afternoon poster session. There is no hosted dinner.
