Zonta Club of Coos Bay Area and the Coos Bay Area Zonta Service Foundation are pleased to announce our fourth annual Girls Rock it Tools & Trade (“GRiTT”) summer camp! This free introductory and intermediate program for youth ages 8-12 teaches basic construction methods using handheld tools. Camp will be held at Oregon Coast Artisan & Trade Education Collective, located at the Old Charleston School (64051 Seven Devils Rd, Coos Bay). Camp materials, lunch and snacks are provided. Transportation to and from the camp is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

• Introductory session: Weds-Fri August 7-9, 2024 (9am-2pm) – basic construction project (available to youth who did not participate in the GRiTT 2021-2023 programs)
• Intermediate session: Weds-Fri August 14-16, 2024 (9am-2pm) – advanced construction project (available to introductory session campers and returning campers)

Both sessions are capped at 15 campers; if more than 15 applications are received campers will be chosen by lottery drawing. Please completed the application below by May 24, 2024 to be considered for a 2024 camp spot. Applicants will be notified of participation eligibility by May 31, 2024.
