Attention, videomakers!

Lasta Festival Galway at the Town Hall Theatre is on the hunt for TikTok videos that represent the talent and inventiveness of young creatives and we want you to get involved!

Lasta Festival is a national programme running from the 11th-20th of June and curated entirely by young people, presenting a unique array of digital performances and workshops unlike any other festival of its kind and presented as part of Brightening Air | Coiscéim Coiligh, a nationwide, ten day season of arts experiences brought to you by the Arts Council.

Our theme for this open call is ‘Light of the West’, representing the diverse array of fresh, creative voices making art in the West of Ireland right now and their glimmering potential.

Your submission for this video gallery can be one to three connected videos, each of no more than one minute in length. Any genre, style or approach is welcome – what we want to see are pieces that are innovative, creative and that really use the TikTok art form to their advantage.

A collection of our favourite videos will be showcased on our TikTok and Instagram accounts every day throughout the festival, so go grab your phone and show off what you can do!

Closing date is Friday the 21st of May.
