Bridging Milestones (BriM) is a youth-led mentorship based program by We and the World.

Our program will feature one-on-one mentorship as well as group mentorship between high school mentees and mentors in post secondary.

Note: One-on-one mentorship mentee and mentor pairing will be primarily based on academic compatibility.

Program goals:
1. Providing ongoing one-on-one mentorship opportunities that enhance mutual learning in mentees and mentors
2. Providing networking opportunities for all program participants
3. Fostering development of critical life skills such as leadership and communication

Before you proceed with the application, please familiarize yourself with the following requirements:

MENTEE MUST BE:
1. Entering grade 10-12 in September 2021
2. Prepared to learn from the mentors.
3. Ask questions and be involved in the sessions.
4. Diligent in checking emails and responding to surveys and event plans.
5. Mindful of mentor’s time and communicative of time constraints to attend sessions.
6. Understanding of the limitations that may be posed in finding a mentor with the exact academic interests as the mentee.


MENTEE COMMITMENT: August 2021-May 2022
1. Attend biweekly (2X/month) one-on-one 30-60 minute mentorship session with partner mentor
2. Attend 4 cohort events: Orientation, Pairing Event, Midpoint Check In Event and Wrap Up Event
3. Complete 2 surveys with program feedback
