2023 Richmond Reporter-in-Residence Program
The 2023 Reporter in Residence program, facilitated by the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in partnership with Richmond Pulse, is now accepting applications. 

This program runs from Aug. 21 to Dec. 13, and is open to Contra Costa County residents with a strong interest in a career in journalism.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Up to two fellows will be selected. Each will receive $2,000 and will audit a JOURN 200 Intro to Reporting class at the UC Berkeley Journalism School in Berkeley. Fellows are required to attend two Berkeley Journalism classes each week. Classes run Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon. In addition, fellows will receive one-on-one mentorship from a lecturer each week. And they also will be featured in a short write-up on the J-School webpage.
