Après le succès des dernières éditions, l’Acfas-Saskatchewan et ses partenaires organisent à nouveau une finale du concours Ma thèse en 180 secondes (MT180). Ce concours est l'équivalent francophone de 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) qui se tient depuis plusieurs années dans certaines universités de la province.

Date limite pour s'inscrire : 1er décembre 2022

Cette finale aura lieu le JOUR MOIS 2023 en direct à Saskatoon, sur place et à distance (format hybride). Chaque candidat-e- sera invité-e- à présenter sa recherche ou leur œuvre art (slam, chanson ou toile) en 3 minutes en direct devant ses ami-e-s, sa famille, la communauté fransaskoise et un jury. Pour être admissible, tu dois être inscrit-e- dans un programme de baccalauréat, de maîtrise ou de doctorat en Saskatchewan (University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, Cité universitaire francophone) et avoir une recherche ou une œuvre artistique éligible (slam, chanson ou œuvre visuelle) à présenter en 3 minutes. Que le français soit ta langue maternelle, ta langue seconde ou même ta cinquième langue parlée, nous accueillerons ta candidature avec plaisir! Il suffit de maîtriser le français pour pouvoir participer. Et bien sûr, tu peux participer même si tu étudies en anglais, tant que tu fais ta présentation en français durant le concours.

Des bourses seront remises aux gagnant-e-s de la catégorie Recherche, de la catégorie Arts et au coup de coeur du public. De plus, un-e- doctorant-e- par université de la province pourra participer à la finale franco-canadienne du concours, et recevra un accès gratuit à tous les colloques du Congrès de l'Acfas, qui est le plus grand congrès scientifique multidisciplinaire de la francophonie.

Pourquoi participer?
- Élargir ton réseau dans le milieu de la recherche;
- Faire découvrir une partie de ta recherche ou de ton art à la communauté scientifique et à un large public;
- Diffuser ta recherche ou ton art au sein de la communauté;
- Développer tes aptitudes en communication;
- Avoir de premières expériences d'entrevue dans les médias;
- Courir la chance de recevoir une bourse;
- Clarifier tes idées en vue de la rédaction de ta thèse;
- Développer tes compétences en vue de ta soutenance de thèse, de prestations ou de présentations orales.

After the success of the last editions, Acfas-Saskatchewan and its partners are once again organizing a final of the Ma thèse en 180 secondes (MT180) competition. This competition is the French-language equivalent of 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) which has been held for several years in some universities in the province.
Deadline to register: December 1, 2022

This final will take place on DAY MONTH 2023 live in Saskatoon, on site and remotely (hybrid format). Each candidate will be invited to present their research or their art piece in 3 minutes live in front of their friends, family, Saskatchewan's French-speaking community and a jury. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctoral program in Saskatchewan (University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, Cité universitaire francophone) and have a research or artistic work (slam, song or visual work) to present in 3 minutes. Whether french is your mother tongue, your second language or even your fifth spoken language, we will welcome your application! All you need is to master the french to be able to participate. And of course, you can participate even if you study in English, as long as you make your presentation in french during the competition.

Scholarships will be awarded to the winners of the Research category, the Arts category and the public's favourite. In addition, one doctoral student per university in the province will be able to participate in the French-Canadian final of the competition, and will receive free access to all the conferences of the Acfas Congress, which is the largest multidisciplinary scientific congress in the Francophonie.
