A feedback group consists of 3-6 other graduate students, and an ESOL specialist or consultant as the group facilitator. This group meets at the same time every week for an hour to review one member's writing. *
Required
Once a month, I will share my paper or a part of my paper (e.g., introduction) with other members to provide feedback on. These papers will come from my regular courses and research. No papers are assigned by the feedback group. *
Required
The point of PFGs is to provide and receive feedback on academic writing tasks members have in progress. Feedback Groups are NOT classes, but provide me with the opportunity to learn about academic communication from my peers and an ESOL specialist or consultant. *
Required
I commit to review other members' writing in advance of the weekly meetings, come to every group meeting throughout the semester, provide constructive feedback, and actively participate in the discussions. *
