Rebekah's Circle Participant Application Form
Welcome to Rebekah's Circle!

Rebekah's Circle is designed for you!  Make a choice today to spend an evening once a week at the start of this school year to share a free dinner, you don't cook, make friends in a new space, remember why you chose college now, the dreams you have and how Jesus can help center you in this fun whirlwind? Rebekah's Circle will be this space for you!  A holy space for young women to gather together with amazing mentors and special guests to experience Christ's unconditional love through accompaniment and cultivating relationships, enjoying meals together, and sharing meaningful conversation.

What does an evening gathering look like?

Each Tuesday evening we assemble (there will be just six!), those present will include college students like you, trained mentors, and UPCaM's Executive Director, Shelley.  This group will be Rebekah's Circle #3 -- a Christian community with and for each other.  Each Tuesday will involve sharing: a meal together, prayer, a reflection about a woman of the Bible, featured guest's presentation and time for fellowship/discussion on the themes of health, wellness, empowerment, and capacity-building.

This is an intergenerational initiative designed for young women, 16 through 35 years of age living in Cuyahoga County, and enrolled in classes at Tri-C Metro Campus and/or Cleveland State University.  Our vision is to create an environment and experience where young women will connect with peers and mentors and together all involved will experience how a safe, empathetic, compassionate Christian Community can be empowering, and how mentorship, shared knowledge, and social capital can begin and/or strengthen relationships with peers, family members and/or the community with greater social agency.

What we ask of you...

Each Young Adult Participant is responsible for:
• Attending and participating in Circle Gatherings (if you cannot attend, texting director at least 1 hour prior)
• Bringing with you provided material, books we'll engage (light reading, we promise) and your preferred device for digital downloads by QR-codes
• Be willing to support and take part in a safe, empathetic, and compassionate environment for all involved to experience Christian community, share hospitality, and support each other in the exploration of health, empowerment and capacity-building.

Participant Attendance Expectations:
