Hello GNG! The Recreation Departments are looking to collect data to see how much interest we would have in a ski and ride program with 2 of our local ski mountains. These packages are deeply discounted to the Recreation Departments and we want to make sure to offer the best fit for GNG. Both programs are scheduled to start in January.

Lost Valley
A 6 week program is approx $150 for a 1 hour and fifteen minute lesson and lift ticket for 6 weeks. For an additional $90 rental equipment will be provided for the entire 6 weeks.

An 8 week program would cost approx $200 for a season of 8 - 1 hour and fifteen minute lessons. Rental equipment in the 8 week program would cost $120 for the entire 8 weeks.

Lift tickets on lesson nights would be valid 3-8pm allowing time on the hill before and after the lesson time.

There is a possibility we can provide bus transportation to and from Lost Valley, but we wanted to see if parents would be able to get kids to Auburn without adding that expense to the program. We also would like to know which evening would work best for our GNG families.

Shawnee Peak
Offers a weekday season pass for approximately $160. We are exploring the opportunity to take a group out to Shawnee Peak on Wednesdays. This package does not include a lesson and is designed for more seasoned skiiers/older children. In order to qualify for the group rate, we need to have at least 20 participants. We'd like to gather information on age of participants to determine what type of supervision will be needed to operate the program and also the need for transportation.
