Thank you for your interest in applying for the Gather Flora + Max Gill Master's Workshop scholarship. Please submit your application by 12p PST on Friday, May 14th. Responses will be anonymous and randomized during the selection process. In addition to meeting the requirements, selections will be based on short answer responses that provide the most compelling benefits to business and professional development. We ask that applicants:

1. Self-identify as part of an underrepresented community e.g.:
    - BILPOC (Black, Indigenous, Latinx, People of Color)
    - LGBTQIA+
    - Disabled
2. Have 1+ years of professional experience in the flower industry.
3. Are currently pursuing a professional path involving flowers.
4. Are able to provide own transportation to and from the workshop.


We buy flowers as an experience of connection -- to beauty, to nature, to each other, and at Gather Flora, we strive to find ways to reflect this in the way we do business. We hope to expand access to professional development and distribute leadership opportunities within our dynamic industry.

In partnership with Max Gill, we are offering 3 scholarship spaces to those from underrepresented communities to attend our upcoming Gather Flora + Max Gill Master's workshop free of charge.

Gather Flora is delighted to partner with world-renowned floral designer Max Gill to offer a Master's Workshop. This is a stripped-back 3-hour class geared towards industry professionals who crave a chance to tune in to Max’s core principles and methods of floral design as informed by natural process, specialty blooms, and botanical rarities gleaned from local growers. We will employ a limited palette and minimal elements to refocus on building a solid spatial foundation for floral design that can scale from the centerpiece to complex installations.

Workshop Details:

- Where: Max’s East Bay studio
- When: Sunday, May 23rd from 11:00a-2pm PST
- COVID-safe protocols will be enforced
- Cost includes wonderful, locally sourced floral materials provided by Gather Flora.
- Gather Flora does not provide transportation costs.
