ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
How many times have we taught and retaught a concept? Students just don’t seem to remember the correct spelling of words or how to apply a phonics principle in figuring out a new word. As a result, they may struggle while their peers move forward. In this session, participants  will learn how to make the lesson memorable. Research suggests that humor and unusual approaches are what impacts long-term retention of concepts. Learn how simple active -learning-with-a-twist will reach even those students who struggle the most.
