Every 4th Friday of the month at X!
If you'd like to perform at one of the Open Mic Nights please sign up using the form below. We can accommodate roughly 10 performers per night. Performers will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis, although first time performers will receive priority over returning performers. If we receive more applications, we will create an alternates list and contact you in case another performer cancels their performance.
We will contact all applicants 5 days (monday) before the event at the latest about their application and performance. Good luck with the preparations!
Rules:
- You can perform anything you like. Sing a song, read a poem, play a tune, do some stand-up comedy. We want it all! We like to hear your own creations, but covers, odes and tributes are also allowed.
- We will provide 2 microphones for singers/speakers, a piano, a cagon, guitar amp and double bass. Please bring your own instruments. Performances are semi-acoustic. Drums are not allowed.
- No more than 4 people per performance. The stage is small. Please keep this in mind when planning your performance.
- Performers get 10 minutes of stage time incl. setting up, introductions, tuning, getting in the zone. This gives everyone room for roughly 2 songs and some background info about yourself and your performance.
- The performance order will be decided on the night. Performers will be expected to arrive before the start of the event to receive their timeslot. We (and your fellow performers) appreciate it if you stick around to watch and support each other.
- Audience members can join for free, but full = full.
