Shockoe Sessions Live is a weekly, one hour live show, streamed via YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch and Twitter featuring artists from Richmond and surrounding areas. The show is produced by In Your Ear Studios with the help of local volunteers and occasional sponsors. We strive to offer a wide variety of music styles and performances that our selection committee feels best represent the RVA music scene. We pay the band based on a split with ticket sales (50% split between Shockoe Records and the artist. 25 tickets must be sold to activate the split!)
Performance and music rights- In Your Ear Studio or other named sponsors of Shockoe Sessions Live do not hold claim to any rights regarding the performers music or performance. The purpose of the show is to promote the artists and the Richmond music scene. The artists have access to any video and audio assets. We encourage artists to use In Your Ear for subsequent production if possible. The show is being produced with little or no compensation for In Your Ear or the production volunteers that make this show possible. Hopefully sponsorship will change in the future!
