How do Parasocial Relationships influence Early Adolescence?
I am a year 12 student studying Society and Culture and am required to complete a Personal Interest Project for my HSC. I am investigating the influence of parasocial relationships on early adolescence and their identity formation. The phenomenon of parasocial relationships is the one-sided dynamic an individual holds towards someone who doesn’t know they exist.  All answers are completely confidential and anonymous. Parasocial relationships are defined by one-sided relationships, wherein a deep sense of connection and intimacy is tied to a person they don’t personally know, in this case, a well-known figure.
