Worship Audition Application 2022
IMPORTANT: Please understand that in order to be considered for the Worship Ministry you are expected to be a member and actively attending Sunday services at Founders Baptist Church.

STEP 1: THE APPLICATION
The first step in joining the worship ministry is to fill out this application at your earliest convenience. Once completed, Josh Philpot will receive your response and contact you regarding an available time slot on September 24, 2022, between 9:00am-12:00pm. 

STEP 2: PRACTICE MATERIALS
Once your application has been submitted you should go here to listen to a list of recordings of the songs we use for the audition. The songs are common songs used at our church. Learn to play them all the way through. Play your parts as similar to the recordings as possible. Then, download the audition packet here, where you will find: 
  • A list of six songs to prepare. Please choose two you would like to play or sing at the audition. 
  • Chord charts for instrumentalists
  • Vocal sheets for vocalists
  • Soundtracks for vocalists
STEP 3: ATTEND AN AUDITION
Then, try out at a Worship Audition. Josh Philpot will contact you to provide you with your scheduled time slot. If you are not able to audition at the designated time slot then e-mail Josh to set up a private audition when you have learned the materials. At the audition you will play TWO prepared songs from “Step 2.”
