Many of us have friends and family that are Mormons. The upcoming Speaking the Truth in Love to Mormons event will provide a foundation on LDS belief and practice and abundant applications of how to engage in conversations with truth and love. Mark Parsons, the vice president of Truth in Love Ministry, brings an expert and current perspective to this conversation to equip us for witnessing.

The Speaking the Truth in Love to Mormons event will take place at Sunset Beach Christian Church in Haleiwa from 6:00-9:00 pm on Saturday, September 17.

During the event, Pastor Parsons will share a formal 75-minute presentation followed by food and time for lengthy and in-depth Q&A.

The Five Tips for Witnessing presentation covers the following:

Know and respond to the Mormon Plan of Salvation.
The significant differences between the Mormon and Christian gospel.
Five tips for engaging in witnessing based on five common mistakes.

See Mormons as victims, not enemies.
Treat Mormons with genuine love and respect.
Focus on Mormon stress points.
Speak the Mormon language.
Witness Christ rather than debate Mormonism.
