Crew Applications for Lassiter High School Fall MTI Musical Fundraiser

Tech crew needs may be more limited for this show.

Theatre Crew and Stage Technical Positions: Tech Crew is a very important and necessary part of the theatre process, and we need lots of crew members to make our Spring Musical a success!

There are many areas in which we need help, review below and check all positions you may be interested in. Select 1-5 positions below in any category. (you may be assigned more than one position).

Crew: TECH POSITIONS - Available to work at least 5 crew meeting dates after school during March or April.

Crew: SHOW RUN POSITIONS - You MUST be available for all Tech Runs and Shows (possible show dates include April 22-25 and April 29-May 1)

Crew: MANAGER POSITIONS - Attends ALL REHEARSALS and ALL SHOWS, very involved in the whole process and report directly to Show Director and Program Director.

Crew: Tech Positions- You may select multiple positions in which you are interested

Scenic Painter (paint set and prop pieces)

Props Artisan (create and find props as needed)

Costumer (sew and find costume pieces)

Scenic Carpenter (build set, show up for set builds, etc)

Lighting Programmer (program the lighting board before shows)

Sound Programmer (program audio for shows, set up mics and speakers etc.)

Marketing Assistant (prepare marketing materials such as flyers, Playbills, etc.)

Crew: Show Run Positions- You may select multiple positions in which you are interested

Back Stage Crew (Run scene changes for props, set, etc.)

Quick Change Costuming Crew (help cast with quick changes backstage)

Make Up Artist (designing and putting make up on cast members for tech rehearsals/shows)

Light Board Op (runs the light board during tech rehearsals/shows)

Audio Board Op (runs the audio board during tech rehearsals/shows, mic + music levels etc.)

Music/SFX Op (plays music and SFX cues during tech rehearsals/shows)

House Ushers/Ticketing (helping audience check in and finding seats)

Crew: Manager Positions

Stage Manager (Runs show, calls crews, fills rehearsal and show reports, attends EVERY rehearsal!)

Assistant Stage Manager (runs backstage during shows, reports to SM)

Backstage Manager (in charge of running backstage actors, crew, etc)

Assistant Director (creative position working closely with director, taking notes, running errands etc.)

Marketing/House Manager (in charge of the marketing, creating ads, running ticketing and ushers during shows etc.)

Props Master (in charge of finding, making and account for all props in shows.)

Note: No absences will be allowed outside of the conflicts listed here outside of emergencies, including illness. Tech crew may not be required at all rehearsals depending on role.

Student Production Contract: By agreeing to this contract, I understand that I can be removed from this year’s production should the contract rules not be abided by, and it may affect my standing in future productions or any Drama Club functions, should I not adhere to the following contract. The student also acknowledges that their placement in tech and operating as a crew member for the production that the same rules apply.
