A free cccSkerries Online Minecraft Server for those stuck at home.
This new online Minecraft world is free to join for those who a) are current cccSkerries participants [weekly classes or camps in 2019 or 2020] and b) own Minecraft Java Edition. The server will be open Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. (and closed to participants at all other times) until Fri 17 April. Its focus is on playing together, not against each other.

This is for the PARTICIPANT.
The server will be in "survival" mode - it's a brand new server I bought specifically for the current COVID 19-enforced time kids are at home and not in classes or school. Let your son or daughter know, please, that it will be on Peaceful for the first 30 min of every day, then on Easy for 60 min, and then on Peaceful for the last 30 min.
Important: This world is for those who agree to the rules only. Those who are trolling / tricking others, or are destroying or stealing anyone's things or buildings, or are not following rules set by the admins, will be, on the first occasion, warned and kicked off the server, but can come back after five minutes. If they break these rules a second time, they will not be able to join for the rest of the day or the next day. On the third  occasion, their access to the server will be removed. Please confirm that you and your son / daughter agrees to this. *
Minecraft Java Edition is Minecraft for the computer (PC or Laptop, Apple or Windows).  NOT Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, you can't log onto the cccSkerries Server with that! https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition should be the best link. You will need to set up an account with Minecraft.net (take good note of the answers to their security questions! You may know now who your best friend is, but that might change in a year or so...) Minecraft costs €23.95. Worth it, if you ask me. By the way, each player needs their own licence. You make up a user name like AwesomePineapple or Stripey2020 (don't use the child's actual name) as you set up your account, too. For log in, the email address and password are needed (for you, not for me).
