  DESCRIPTION: The Financial Times recently did an analysis of a bunch of free VPN apps for Android and Apple devices.  They found over half the apps were sharing information with China.  Can you trust a VPN app?  Should you deploy your own?  Alphabet's Outline, Streisand and the Algo VPN are all designed to make it much easier to deploy your own VPN.  This will be a quick intro to some of the options and a discussion of where I'm at with my belated new year's resolution to start using a VPN on open wifi networks.
