You have been given the opportunity to sail on board our Ocean Race One Design Yacht Janssen de Jong.  By agreeing this notice, you confirm that you:

- are in good health and of a sufficient level of physical fitness to participate in the delivery / race without causing undue risk to yourself or others and have not been advised against participating in activities of this kind by a medical doctor;
- have assessed the weather and marine conditions with regard to your sailing experience and fitness;
- will comply with all safety notices and the instructions of any Team Janssen de Jong crew and/or participating team staff;
- have taken out suitable and sufficient travel and third party insurance to cover you in the event of injury to yourself and third parties and for lost, stolen or damaged property;
- are aware of the risks associated with participating in the delivery / race and acknowledge that sailing is by nature a hazardous activity;
- will not take part in the delivery / race if you are feeling at all unwell or tired or under the influence of alcohol, medication or similar; and will take due care and attention in preventing or creating undue risk to yourself and others. Sailing of this nature can be a high risk activity. Your participation in this Race is entirely voluntary and at your own risk. You acknowledge that participation in this Race carries with it the potential risk of death, serious injury and property loss. In joining this Boat, you acknowledge and accept that you are exposing yourself to the dangers and risks of the sport. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for any loss or damage caused to you or your property. If you are in any way uncomfortable with anything, please do not sail. This notice is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. By signing this notice you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts. I acknowledge that sailing is by nature a hazardous activity.
- declare that all photos and video taken from you are free to use by Team Childhood 1 and its sponsors free of right, unless otherwise agreed.
- declare that the team (Team Janssen de Jong), the boat owner (Sailing Holland), DutchSail and all its sponsors, sub-sponsors, organisations and suppliers are not liable in any way.

- if the trip cannot take place, the registration fee will be refunded. Other costs cannot be claimed so we advise you to book tickets with cancellation option.
