Hello, and thank you for your interest in the NCHS Royelles Dance Team!

We are excited to offer current 6th-8th grade students a chance to join the Royelles for a one-of-a-kind "Viking Experience" during our annual Middle School Night on Friday, Oct. 8! Future Vikings will have the opportunity to meet current Royelles dancers, coaches and sponsors; learn routines with the Royelles; and even perform alongside the Royelles dance team during the football game! Students and families should check in prior to joining the Royelles Viking Experience by entering the Commons through the door in the Circle Drive.

The itinerary for the Middle School Night "Viking Experience" is as follows:

*** If you are registering for an entire team or dance group, please supply a roster to admissions@nchstx.org
Individuals are encouraged

Schedule:
5:15-5:30 - Check in with NCHS staff member
5:30 - NCHS staff member escorts middle schoolers to Dance Studio where future Vikings will meet the Royelles Directors and dance team.
5:30-6:15 - Learn routines and how to hold poms
6:15 - Depart for football field
Q1 and Q2 - Dance in stands with Royelles!
End of Q2 - NCHS staff will dismiss middle school students to their parent/guardian to watch halftime show
 

***What to Wear***
Clothes you can dance in! Preferably a blue, white, or black shirt (NCHS shirt is fine), and athletic shorts or leggings. Tennis shoes are fine.
 
***What to Pack***
Face mask
Water bottle

***What to Expect***
Middle school students will learn stand routines and dance with the Royelles before halftime. At the end of second quarter, they will be dismissed to their parents/guardians to watch the halftime show.

Students may either bring the waiver with them on Middle School Night, or you may submit a completed waiver via email to admissions@nchstx.org
