2019 CBYX NPDO Registration
Congratulations on your acceptance to the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program! Our National Pre-Departure Orientation (NPDO) for all YFU students embarking on a semester or year long exchange program will be held July 12-14 at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Please complete this form to begin your registration process for NPDO.

CBYX students will need to pay for their travel expenses to and from NPDO. These expenses are not covered in the scholarship you received.  If you have any further questions regarding NPDO please contact ecampbell@yfu.org.

All CBYX students are expected to attend NPDO. If the cost of travel to and from NPDO will prevent you from being able to attend, please indicate below. YFU will contact you to discuss the possibility of financial assistance.

Travel Information
CBYX students must pay for their own transportation to NPDO. If you live locally or within three hours of Naperville, IL, we suggest you use public transportation or drive. For those further from Illinois, YFU recommends you fly to NPDO. Check the NPDO webpage for more details about travel options.

CBYX students should be on campus by 1:00 PM on Friday, July 12 for a CBYX-only session before the rest of the orientation begins. The orientation ends at 1pm on July 14, so please arrange your travel accordingly.

If you will be flying to NPDO, you must book a flight that lands by 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12 and that departs after 4:00 PM on July 14. You must fly in and out of ORD. Do not book a flight that does not meet these requirements. If you have travel questions or cannot find a flight within this time range, contact Erin Campbell at ecampbell@yfu.org.
