FOOTBALL COLLEGE (YEAR 9 & 10) REGISTRATION 2024

Dear Parents/Caregivers

Your child has expressed interest in representing the school in the College Football Competition.

Details are as follows:

COMPETITION PLAYING DAY AND TIME
Boys - Saturday at either 9am or 10am 
Girls - Wednesday at 4pm.

COMPETITION COMMENCEMENT DATE 
Boys - Saturday 11th May 2024
Girls - Wednesday 8th May 2024
Football games are played in Term 2 and 3. 

VENUE - Games are played home and away. 

TRAINING - Teams will have a minimum of one training per week, which will be held on the school fields either before or after school. Training days and times will be advised once teams and coaches confirmed.

TRIALS - Dependent on registrations. Details to be advised.

UNIFORM -  Playing shirt will be provided for the season, AJHS PE shorts and AJHS Maroon socks (Socks purchased for $21.00 from the AJHS uniform shop).

TRANSPORT - It is the responsibility of parent/caregivers to either transport their child to the games and trainings each week or to arrange for another parent/caregiver to transport them. The school does not provide transport for this competition.

REGISTRATION FEE - $125.00 per player for the season

COMPULSORY ADMINISTRATION FEE - $25.00 (One payment of $25.00 will be charged regardless of the number of sports played)

REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE - Friday 8th March 2024 

REGISTRATION FEE DUE BY - Friday 8th March 2024

REFUND POLICY - Once teams are named there will be no refunds of Registration Fees or the Sports Administration Fee unless an approved medical certificate is provided.

For this length of time and at this level of competition each school team requires a coach and a manager.
As a coach you will be required to take a minimum of one training per week and also be available at the games. For team training's the school's facilities would be available for use before or after school. Standard training times are either 7.30am to 8:30am before school or 3.30pm to 4.30pm after school.

Managers are required to organise the team, ensuring all players and parents/caregivers are aware of game times and trainings.
 
Without parent volunteers it is impossible for teams to participate in the competition so if you are available to assist with either role please tick the appropriate box on the form.

To ensure your child is registered for Year 9 and 10 football, please complete the following form and submit by Monday 26th February 2024. Please also ensure that the registration fee of $125.00 plus $25.00 Administration Fee is paid by Monday 26th February 2024. 

Our preferred method of payment is by internet banking. Please make payment to our school bank account ASB 12 3107 0017930 00. Please use FC and your child's name as reference for payment.
