Initially this will be a freelance role on a per project basis, but with a view of going to a full time position in the near future. You are able to work fully remotely any where in the world, but with a preference to those in time zones that align with either California or Central Europe.

An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of story and pacing within video editing, and the ability to use the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition etc.). They would also have experience working with YouTube channels and an understanding of how content can be optimized to the platform.

Please provide examples of your work below. For video editing, we'd like to see full video's, but for animation just showreels/highlights are fine.

Preferably, we would like an editor who is familiar with the content we produce and the subject matter they will be working with (Tech, Business, Economics, etc).

Although we don't have strict experience requirements, this role is not for junior editors, but for those that can really understand and craft a narrative working towards the channels long term goals, and help elevate our content to the next level.

Pay is dependent on experience, will initially be a per video contract, and eventually a monthly retainer for the right person.
