Attachment Theory in Practice: Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals, Couples and Families (Johnson, 2019) and is an excellent foundational text for all EFT modalities (EFCT, EFIT and EFFT).

If you are attending an Externship in EFCT, we recommend reading the latest edition of The Practice of Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy: Creating Connection (Johnson, 2019).

It is recommended that participants secure Becoming an Emotionally Focused Therapist: The Workbook (2nd edition, 2022) by James L. Furrow, Susan M. Johnson, Brent Bradley, Lorrie Brubacher, T. Leanne Campbell, Veronica Kallos-Lily, Gail Palmer, Kathryn Rheem & Scott Woolley, for the exercises relating to EFCT.

CANCELLATION OF FEES are subject to a $100 administration fee and must be made in writing at least 21 days prior to the workshop date to qualify for a refund of the balance paid.  If you cancel with between 21 days and 8 day's notice, you will be refunded 50% If you cancel with less than 7 days before the training starts, there is no refund. 

Note that once a participant has started engaging in a training, we are unable to refund fees. In the unlikely event of us having to cancel due to a lack of participants or other unforeseen circumstances, we will refund your paid workshop fees but are unable to reimburse you for further costs such as travel, airfares and accommodation.

TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION to another person: Registrations are transferable IN FULL to another person on notification, with a $100 admin cost. Where an attendee can only attend for part of a training, transfer of the remainder of the registration to another person is not possible.

TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION to another training: Registrations are transferable IN FULL to another Aotearoa New Zealand EFT training, with a $100 admin cost.
