Thank you for your interest in the FREE BIPOC LEVEL 3IMPROV [Wednesdays] with Chris Williams Kickstand's BIPOC Program. 

You are adding your information to WAITLIST so that we can contact you if space becomes available in the Tuesday Level 3 class

All BIPOC folx are welcome, but we will be prioritizing Black and Indigenous students who have the prerequisite experience on the waitlist as well as students with the most availability for the class. Filling out this waitlist form does not a guarantee of getting selected for the class. 

If space opens up we will contact you prior to the start of the class up and until April 24th.

BIPOC LEVEL 3 IMPROV Exploring Premise & Game of the Scene

INSTRUCTOR: Chris Williams
DAY / TIME: WEDNESDAYS 6:30 - 8:30 PM 2hrs
DATE RANGE: 8 weeks. 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/12

PREREQUISITE: Kickstand Level 1& 2 or any previous long-form teaching experience with the approval of the Training Center Director


CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This class focuses on the “group mind” aspect of improv, and students will work together to perform twenty-minute improv sets that will eventually feel like complete shows rather than a series of unrelated scenes while continuing to develop their scene work chops. Students will play with the idea of heightening comedic elements in the second and third beats of scenes, as well as using an opening to develop ideas for scenes at the top of a show


This is an in-person class.
