Overview:

   Animals do a great service to us by providing many things of our daily use like silk, wool,leather, pearls, food and also services like transport. Dogs and parrots have been  used by police for tracing criminals and delivering letters respectively. Interesting features regarding various animals have been amply discussed in the quiz. Please go through the quiz to learn  that although Cheetah is the fastest land animal, it is the horse known for its consistency in speed  and, hence, has the greatest endurance as the runner and that's where the quality of endurance as the runner. However, due to man's greed for hunting and poaching, many animals like Dodo, Passenger pigeon, Caribbean Monk Seal , Tasmanian tiger, Quagga, Golden toad etc have become extinct. Many other animals like the  African elephant, Giant Panda, Bactrian camel, Bald eagle, Golden lion tamarin are the species of becoming extinct in near future and are in the Endangered list. While elephants are hunted for their tusks, the rhinos are killed for their unique horns and so on. The Wildlife Protection Act 1972 bans illegal trade of wildlife in India.
