Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration - 1/18/21 Noon
Noblesville residents gather on the 3rd Monday of January, the holiday set aside as Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Day  to reflect on, celebrate, and honor his life's work.    With the health and safety of our community in mind, this year's event will be held virtually as a community panel discussion.

Join in our Community Conversation on Racial Equity by submitting your anonymous questions.

Our panel will gather at noon on January 18 via Facebook Live to discuss and address your questions on race and equity, questions you were afraid to ask, issues you are curious about, or things you just seek to better understand.

The panel of guests will include local pastors, Revs. Mindy Mayes and Jerry Rairdon, business leader Norman Williams, Ball State professor Jill Walls, Noblesville Police Deputy Chief Shannon Trump, and Noblesville High School's Black Student President, Ellis Tarver.

Help us, in the spirit of MLK Jr., move ourselves and our community forward together through thoughtful and respectful conversation to lead to greater understanding.

To aid our panel in their preparation, please submit your questions by Thursday, January 14.

Martin Luther King Jr.  Day Celebration is presented annually by Bethel AME Church, Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, Noblesville First United Methodist Church, Noblesville Diversity Coalition, Noblesville Schools, White River Christian Church, and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
