Course Overview
This course is designed to equip practitioners with the basic knowledge of the meridian network system (经络系统) in our body. We will also explore the holistic principle of wellness of Chinese Medicine (整体观), such as the Yin-Yang (阴阳学说), 5 elements (五行学说), and Zang-Fu theories (藏象). Practitioners will get to understand the pathways of these meridians as the main transport system for chi-blood (气血) in the body, and when the system is disrupted, organs will not perform their functions and imbalance of the body arises. The course also seeks to allow practitioners to incorporate these knowledge in complementing and enhancing their yin practice. In addition, relevant acupoints and acupressure techniques will also be shared in each module. Lesson format: 90min theory; 30min Q&A; 60 min Yin yoga practice
