Summer School Registration
Thank you for choosing to enroll in Summer Credit Recovery 2024.   Student academic achievement is of the utmost concern for GCS Summer School Administration and Faculty.  This summer we will be providing an opportunity to recover credit for $25 per semester course.  No transportation or meals are provided.

All students must agree to:
  • Work Diligently
  • Learn the content
  • Recover the credit to a passing grade
  • Track their progress and communicate with their teacher outside of the required in-person sessions.
Summer Credit Recovery will run from June 17th through July 26th and will consist of a blend of coursework completed online and REQUIRED weekly 4 hour in-person sessions with instructors at their home school from 8am to 12pm on assigned days.

Greenbrier East students will attend on Tuesdays (June 18, 25,  July 2, 9, 16 & 23)
Greenbrier West students will attend on  Mondays (June 17, 24,  July 6, 13, 20 & 27)

Students may recover one course at a time.  Only basic core subjects will be offered (math, english,  social studies, & selected sciences).  Special Education support is available when necessary.

Students are REQUIRED to attend 6 hour (8am-2pm) in-person sessions weekly. Students may have only one absence from required in person instruction for illness or family vacation.  The absence must be verified with a medical or parent note.

Students are covering a lot of work in a short amount of time and will need to complete assignments on a regular basis to be finished in 6 weeks.

Student deadline to complete work is July 28th.  Teachers will submit final grades to the schools by August 4th. 
Deadlines will not be extended.

No visitors are allowed to the summer program.
