Couch to 5K - Interest and Availability
Thanks for your interest in our spring weekly group runs. This casual (free!) series, led by Jeremy Tarwater, is a great opportunity for beginners/people who hibernated all winter and are looking to get their running legs back. We'll start end of April/early May and lead up to our 5K Trail Race with Central Vermont Runners on June 18th.
Racing the 5K is encouraged* but not required! We are most excited to get people out on the trails. Group runs will extend throughout the summer and fall, come meet new friends and get ready for a great running season!
Jeremy will work with runners to create a basic training schedule and will have weekly group runs to keep you motivated! Weekly groups runs will range 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on ability and distance. If you are interested in this series, we'd love to learn more about you and what days/times you are available!
*For extra motivation, runners who come to every weekly run and complete the 5K will get a discount on running shoes, apparel or accessories at ORO.
