The Kimberly PTA needs your help! We are looking for volunteers to help with PTA events and committees for the 2023-2024 school year.

Programs, events, and activities are only possible with the help of volunteers. Volunteering for the PTA is a great opportunity to support your child and get to know other parents, teachers, and staff. Let's create lasting memories together!

Older siblings are welcome to help out at after-school events with a signed waiver by a parent or guardian. Consider it an easy and fun way to earn volunteer hours if needed!

Your selection indicates your permission for the PTA to contact you when planning the event. Making a selection does not obligate you or your time.

Programs, dates, and duties are subject to the approval of the Association and are subject to change.

Membership: Promote membership and PTA at events

Fundraising: Assist with fall fundraiser, spring fundraiser, restaurant nights

Spirit Wear: Collect orders, sell at events, distribute items

Yearbook (August - May): Take photos, collect and organize photos, help distribute

Ice Cream Social (August 11): Set-up, serve, clean-up

Kimberly Kampout (September 22-23, overnight): Set-up, cook, serve food, provide security, clean-up

Running Club (September - April): Help students find their badges, record laps, encourage runners

Garden Club (September - June): Assist students at stations, weeding and other campus beautification

Campus Clean-up Days (TBD): Help clean up garden beds, weed, clean up the campus

Walk to School Day (October 4): Walk with students from Prospect Park, pass out snacks

Mt. Sac Invitational (October 13): Promote, organize teams, order team shirts, be/designate POC day of the race

Fall Festival (October 21): Set-up, construct booths, silent auction, decorations, bake sale, work the booths, clean up

Reflections Art Program (October-November): Organize entries, recruit judges, reception displays, refreshments, promote events and deadlines

Movie Nights (TBD): Set-up/teardown, sell snacks

Turkey Trot (November): Hand out water, popsicles, keep children on course, hand out ribbons

Winter Program (December): Set-up, supervise students, refreshments

Barnes & Noble Night (TBD): Work/supervise stations, sell spirit wear

Reading Month (February/March): Read to students, help with school activities, Family Reading Night, Read by the Pond, character parade

Read-a-Thon (February-March): Set-up, promote

Skate Night (TBD): Check in participants

Spring Party (May): Set-up, decorate, sell food, work a station, clean up

Fifth Grade Promotion (June): Set up decorations, serve cake and refreshments

PTA would be so happy have you volunteer with us in any capacity! Please check all that apply. There are many PTA involvement opportunities that will fit your lifestyle and time constraints.

Time - 1/2 hour to 1 hour of your time during the event

Chair or co-chair of a committee - POC for event, delegate work, present plan and reports to the Kimberly PTA Board

Adults: 2023-2024 PTA Volunteer Waiver for Adults

Minors: 2023-2024 PTA Volunteer Waiver for Minors (to be filled out by a parent/guardian)

RUSD Board-approved Volunteers (18 years or older)

In order to volunteer at Kimberly Elementary during the school day, you will also need to be an RUSD board-approved volunteer. You do not need to be board-approved to volunteer for PTA Events. Please fill out the Raptor Application.
