This program has two parts: 
1) an English for CNA Support Class     
2) a Hybrid CNA Training with Theory & Skills and a Clinical session.
Part 1:
The English for CNA language support class is 42 hours, plus optional tutoring and career advising. This class helps you with study skills, speaking, reading, and vocabulary skills you need to be successful in your CNA training. 
Dates: March 11-May 8, M&W 6:30-9:15 
Cost:  Free tuition, $50 materials fee.

Part 2:
The Certified Nursing Assistant training program is 145 hours (100 hours of online theory training + in-person skills labs, and 45 hours of clinical skills training).  You’ll learn from experienced and professionally trained nursing instructors.  Upon successful completion of this training, you will obtain a CNA license from the Maryland Board of Nursing and be well-prepared to take the State Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Exam.  A CNA license provides graduates with unique opportunities for rewarding careers in one of the many healthcare facilities in the region.
Dates:   April 20-May 17 (See times and details below)

*You must register for and attend both the Theory Class skills labs and the Clinical sessions in person.  You also must complete all of the online Theory classwork and exams on CANVAS by assigned due dates

Cost: FREE for students eligible for financial aid. You should expect additional course costs for a criminal background check, required immunizations and other materials.
